Nafsika Antypas
Founder & CEO
Antypas founded PAV in 2014 in both Canada and the U.S. in response to the growing pandemic of violence against women and children. Antypas designed a personal safety app, uAlert that same year to assure that people have the help and on-going support they need to stay safe.

In 2016, Antypas produced and hosted her own television series, Plant-Based By Nafsika (www.nafsikainc.com) where she discusses plant-based holistic living with her guests and participates in demonstrations.

In 2017, Antypas became a certified health coach (Health Coach Institute) and helped people make the “Plant-Based Switch.” She is also the founder of thestrugglingvegan.org.
Josephine Bih Wanki, MSW, LCSW
Lead Clinical Crisis Counsellor
Wanki has a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Southern California in Mental Health with a sub-concentration in Geriatric Care. She received her credentials as a Certified Addiction Counselor from The Colorado School for Family Therapy. Wanki also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Maryland Global College.

Wanki specializes in Complex Trauma and Geriatric mental health. Her experiences include living in West Africa, Europe and a U.S military spouse helping veterans and civilians with complex cases.
Her ultimate goal is to make a positive and powerful impact in people’s lives with compassion and commitment. It is her strong belief that with appropriate support, delivered with respect and empathy, people in distress can define their issues, ensure their safety, empower their abilities, manage their stress, regulate their emotions and recognize their available resources.
Wanki utilizes a combination of Strength Based therapeutic interventions such as Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused and Mindfulness Techniques.

Wanki says, “From a diverse lens, I believe my holistic approach ensures a safe space for people of all ages and backgrounds…all in an effort to heal and thrive.”
Her hobbies are faith based work, nature, gardening, travel, music, quality time with love ones, Connecting and nurturing.

People Against Violence is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2014 in Canada and the U.S. to prevent violence and assist victims worldwide. Our organization focuses on bringing awareness to domestic violence and providing resources to help victims around the clock.
